I'm really trying hard not to turn this into a hater blog, but it's so hard not to. Take these Cherish twins for example. They seem like cool people, but once you get famous, you can't keep shopping at Rainbow and G+G. Case in point: these tackilicious shoes and spandex dresses. Ladies, if you want to go mainstream, do step the game up. Need inspiration? Peep Rihanna any day of the week. Just tryina help.

Angela Stop-Singing Simmons

You all know the Aoki and Ming Sing Along CD's are next up, right? Well at least the family is all about keeping it in the family....

but anyways...

Angela happens to be my fave of the Simmons clan, as I much appreciate her go-getter attitude (even if ish is practically handed to her). But this mess? As if her Pasty's weren't bad enough, homey has decided to up the anty and establish a "singing" career. This is the Wackest Freestyle Friday

If you happen to be watching "106 & Park" right now (that would be Friday, April 4), I hope you agree with me that the two artists just featured on the "Freestyle Friday" portion were terrible. I know the record label that has complied to sign one of them is cringing.

And I can't stand Rocsi. I may have said that before, but she's awful. And to make matters worse, she was acting all uppity towards the studio audience when I went to 106 a while back. Please trick, do not play your 14-year-old fans! I am going to start a petition to bring Free and A.J. back on...or at least give Alesha Renee more air time.

A long weekend

Okay, so I haven't updated in a few days--but with good reason. I've been hella busy with the Spelman College Women of Color Student Leadership Conference, which took place this past weekend and brought together ladies from a number of schools around the country. Shout out to Debarah and everyone else who made it possible (read my blog and I'll add you name). I later attended the IRTS (International Radio and Television Society) conference in NYC. I'll be updating tomorrow!
